The Development Council will work under the advisement and direction of the School Board, to accomplish the following initial goals:

  • Add classes for all Middle School level grades - 6th through 8th - over the next two or three years.
  • Organize and foster the growth of an Alumni Association, for the purposes of recruiting and involving former students and families of SHCS, with regard to donating their time, talent and/or treasure to the School.
  • Establish an Annual Fund to supplement the fund raising gifts that are raised and contributed each year by the Home and School association.  This will include the ability for taking donations online as one-time gifts, or as a monthly giving plan.
  • Create and distribute materials that encourage enrollment and re-enrollment at SHCS. 
  • Work with representatives from the Diocese of Gallup to refine the long and short term goals of the Development Council.
